1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Noomi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Noomi is an AI-powered relationship coaching platform that provides conversational guidance, personality insights, and relationship support. Noomi is not a licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health professional. The Service is designed for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes and should not be considered a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice.

3. Account Terms

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• Each person may maintain only one account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

• Noomi offers a freemium tier with limited messages and a paid subscription for full access.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@noomi.app for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others.
• Engage in any illegal activity or encourage others to do so.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
• Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of others.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without authorization.

6. Intellectual Property

The Noomi name, brand, logo, and all associated content, design, and technology are the property of Noomi and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you share with Noomi during conversations. By using the Service, you grant Noomi a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We do not sell your conversation data to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

Noomi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Noomi is not responsible for any relationship outcomes, decisions, or actions you take based on the Service's guidance.
• Noomi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Professional Advice

Noomi does not provide professional therapy, counseling, medical advice, or legal advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or your local emergency services immediately.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users or the Service. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support@noomi.app.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, unless otherwise required by law.
